For safeguarding, during the pandemic, the ownership of national companies operating in strategic sectors (energy, transport, communications and high-tech) Italian Government\u2019s special powers (e.g., veto\u2019s power on relevant shareholdings\u2019 purchases, as well as on the adoption of key corporate resolutions concerning the afore-said companies), strengthened by means of the Liquidity Decree (no. 23 of 8 April 2020, as converted into Law no. 40 of 5 June 2020), have been recently extended until 30 June 2021 by the Law no. 176 of 18 December 2020, converting the so-called \u201cRistori\u201d Decree.<\/p>\n

Finally, the Presidential Decrees nos. 179 and 180, of 18 and 23 December 2020 respectively, specified critical infrastructures and technologies (such as IA, DLT and blockchain), as well as assets of strategic importance for the national interest in the above mentioned sectors.
