Effective 1 January 2021, last, PRIIPs’ creators, who intend to market such financial products to Italy-based retail clients, must make electronically available beforehand to Consob in-depth information and structured data thereon. This reporting requirement has been introduced by amending Issuers Regulation (Consob’s resolution no. 11971/99, as amended), as well as Consob’s resolution governing the access to documents containing the key information on PRIIPS (Packaged Retail and Insurance-based Investment Products).
